Coaching

Coaching focuses on the immediate need, What are you trying to accomplish & what’s getting in your way - aka, the challenge. The goal is to improve performance, boost confidence and increase motivation. Once we identify what’s getting in your way, we can move forward and explore the technology and strategies that can support you in reaching your goals.

individual & group trainings

Whether training individuals to leverage technology for success or access, my approach is person-first, technology-second and to tie technology and strategies to the tasks and challenges that are a priority for an individual or team.

planning & development

Develop a ‘roadmap for success’ to address the challenges individuals or groups are having with specific tasks.

Individual & business evaluations

Evaluations can be based on the need for access, with regards to a disability, but by using a universal design approach, you can also create a work environment where employees  enjoy working, are motivated, and will be more likely to be efficient, productive, and contribute the success of a company and its goals/values/mission.

Live Workshops & Presentations

Do you or your team need guidance on learning support services for students, with disabilities, discovering and learning to use go-anywhere, free apps that connect students to information, content, learning technology solutions to help students or employees with disabilities, or developing a toolkit for working smarter and not harder? Patrice teaches an array of live workshops to help create a more productive and user friendly workspace for all.

These services aren’t mutually exclusive. Everything can be catered to your specific needs.Evaluations are a standard part of every service and are often repeated as part of a more in-depth process throughout our work together.

You could say that the ‘accommodations’ I can recommend are a ‘positive’ problem-solving approach towards addressing ‘barriers.’ But, if the world was more inclusive and thought about universal design on many more levels (ramps, working elevators, menus in accessible formats, accessible bathrooms, daily technology interfaces, etc.), businesses would shift toward student development for students with disabilities and away from determining the accommodations needed when a setting, environment, or the content is not accessible to persons with disabilities, even when they do have the technology they need.
